TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – After an all-around good showing at the Lady Demon Invite last weekend, the Northwestern State tennis team looks forward to some tough competition this weekend at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Southern Regional Championships.
 
The tournament will take place over three days, beginning on Friday and coming to a close on Sunday.
 
The Lady Demons will compete against 12 other teams including Alabama, Auburn, Jackson State, Louisiana-Monroe, LSU, McNeese State, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Samford, Troy, Tulane and Alabama-Birmingham.
 
Polina Konop, Andrea Nedorostova and Daniela Simonova were each finalists in their flights last weekend.
 
Additionally, the duo of Nedorostova and Tatiana Larina advanced to the championship game of their doubles draw.
 
NSU travels to Hattiesburg, Miss. next weekend to compete in the Southern Mississippi Halloween Classic.
