The Demon Victory Fund

The NSU Athletic Association (aka "The Demon Victory Club") is the official tax-deductible development arm of NSU Athletics. Gifts to the Athletic Association help provide scholarship assistance and support to nearly 300 young men and women who represent NSU in NCAA Division I competition. 

The Demon Victory Fund is the annual scholarship fund of Demon Athletics. The DVF assists in underwriting the costs of running a Division I athletic program. Here is how the Annual Fund supports NSU Athletics:

Athletic Scholarships - The costs of athletic scholarships (e.g. room and board, tuition costs) rise every year and our choice is simple - pay those costs and continue to offer our teams a full scholarship complement or cut scholarships. Your contributions enable us to provide each team a full scholarship complement, ensuring maximum competitiveness for each team every time they step onto the field of play.

Marketing/Promotions/Advertising - Our marketing department develops strategies to increase the marketability of our athletic department and promote its activities among students and faculty of NSU, citizens of Natchitoches, our fans and alumni across the nation, and corporations who support our endeavors.

Departmental and Team Support - The Athletic Association provides support to the training room and Sports Medicine staff, the Strength and Conditioning staff, Sports Information, and to each of our competing teams.

Supporters of the DVF at levels of $60 or more annually become NSU Athletic Association members, over 600 strong in 2009-2010. These members help the department meet its annual goals to provide scholarship support for Demon and Lady Demon Student-Athletes.
