The NSU Demons look forward to a successful 2010-11 year, and part of that success includes continuing the Athletic Department's involvement in the community. Now, NSU wants to offer you the chance to be involved with Demon athletics.

The Purple Partner program is designed to create mutually beneficial relationships between local and regional businesses and Northwestern State's 325+ Division I student-athletes. This program was developed to turn your association with the reputable, successful Demon athletic programs into an economical advertising and hospitality opportunity for your business, company or corporation. This partnership with a university that has a $350 million economic impact on north Louisiana will ensure that we are able to maintain our dedication to academic achievement, community outreach and the pursuit of excellence in athletic performance.

Purple Partners receive special recognition at NSU athletic events throughout the year and invitations to exclusive events. Other benefits include season tickets, game-program advertising and NSU Athletic Association membership.

For more information or to become a Purple Partner, see the attached borchure and contact the NSU marketing department at (318) 357-5251. FORK 'EM DEMONS!!

To those who have formed partnerships with the NSU athletic department, your support is greatly appreciated, and you are the driving force behind NSU's great tradition and brighter future.

The Demons would like to thank the following businesses for being a part of the Purple Partners program. We enjoy doing business with those who do business with us! Look for the NSU Purple Partner in-store displays that advertise businesses' support of NSU athletics.

Did ESPN's SportsCenter rank Paul Harris' sensational 11-yard TD run highly enough at No. 4 on Plays of the Day Saturday?
No. 4 was a fair spot considering the Top 3
C'mon, pro golfers make aces over and over again
Could've been top 2
It was the most eye-catching play, no doubt
Can't wait to see what Harris and the Demons do Saturday at home vs. Samford
