Mission Statement

Athletic Association LogoThe NSU Athletic Association is the official tax-deductible, development arm of Northwestern State intercollegiate athletics. The primary purpose of the NSU Athletic Association is to benefit the student-athlete scholarship fund, also known as the Demon Victory Fund, and also to secure funding for facility enhancement projects, marketing and promotion of our sporting events, and endowed scholarships. There are over 300 student-athletes participating in 14 Division I athletic programs at Northwestern State. When you make your tax-deductible contribution, you are directly assisting a worthy student as he/she completes his or her college degree.

Your generous contributions to the NSU Athletic Association produce impressive results. NSU not only enjoys a very successful athletic program, but also boasts of the nationally recognized academic performance of our student-athletes. The Association ensures that opportunities for athletic, academic, and civic development are all available for our student-athletes. We thank you for your investment in their futures and for demonstrating a belief in Northwestern State and Demon Athletics.

Did ESPN's SportsCenter rank Paul Harris' sensational 11-yard TD run highly enough at No. 4 on Plays of the Day Saturday?
No. 4 was a fair spot considering the Top 3
C'mon, pro golfers make aces over and over again
Could've been top 2
It was the most eye-catching play, no doubt
Can't wait to see what Harris and the Demons do Saturday at home vs. Samford
